The only commonality between the Venus Freeze and Cool Sculpting is the name which seems to reference cold weather. Each machine functions with completely different modalities. The Venus Freeze works with radio frequency heat waves and electromagnetic therapy to burn the fat cells and create the start of collagen regeneration. It works for both fat loss and skin tightening. Cool sculpting freezes your fat cells and those are then extracted by your lymphatic system. It does not work for skin tightening. I personally have done both procedures and found Cool Sculpting to be painful, the frozen cells hurt when pushed back and I ended up with severe itching that lasted two days. Both treatments did work however I found the heat from the Venus Freeze to be much more pleasant although I had to go for repeated sessions. Both results were noticeable in 3 month time.
